I promised design blogs...They are coming....

This is my Dad.  He wants to help ANYONE in need.  Always has, always will. He and my Mom are my Rocks!  My Dad has a lot of faith in me.  He kinda gives me wings ;)  He let me choose all of the colors of paint, carpet and details when he remodeled their vacation house in Chandler, Arizona.  That  is trust!  Now, they let me choose all of the colors for their new house in Salt Lake.  Even up to their Front door Color.  I am not a trained professional.  I am far from it!  I sure have fun decorating though. I know he knows this, so he gives me the reins!  AWESOME huh? He is always cheering us on in all we do!

I will share with you soon, my favorite design inspirations!

My Boys, my loves! Plus a few other things

Having boys is really amazing.  Everyone needs to feel needed.  My boys make me feel like I am needed.  Like nothing is as cool until their Mom sees it!   I totally agree.  It is not as amazing until I get to cheer them on.  In return they cheer me on too.  They are such troopers right now.  Their little worlds have changed drastically in this move too.  However, they continue to be excited for the next adventure and make the changes fun and exciting.

Clothes!
I imagine my love for clothes started as a young girl. Perhaps it was from my Grandma Faye, she LOVED clothes.  Her father, Martin Roskelley, owned his own clothing store called Roskelleys in Logan, Utah. He too loved clothes! You see, this comes from a long line of clothes lovers.  I just put my closet together last night. I am excited to actually stop living out of boxes and suit cases.  I am super excited because I have two suit cases still filled with clothes from two vacations ago.  It is like Christmas, you forget what you have. So, I get to unpack those today!
May I direct you to my favorite spots.  I will no longer be able to shop. :(  But don't feel too badly for me,  remember, I still have two suit cases to unpack. I feel a bit ridiculous as I look at my closets.  There are much more important things in life than clothes.  You see, I am sure that is why I am where I am at in this point in my life-to learn that.

Making the most of it!

Jake said the other day "I am really starting to grow on this place!"  Sweet boy. We laughed a lot.
We decided to get out and check out a hot spot here in Kingman!  If your on route 66...stop here!  We had a great time.  They even have a working juke box!
My Dave built me this garden!  In my very own desolate back yard! Pretty exciting.
                                                                     Grape Tomatoes
                                                                       Cucumbers
                                                                   Crookneck Squash
                                                                    Green Peppers
                                                                      yellow peppers
                                                                           Zuchinni
                                                                         Pumpkins!
Dave and his Dad working endlessly.  Look up... more to come on my chandelier ;)

My Sister and I remind each other of this lots.  Kind of our endearment to each other.

So MANY projects so little time....

Hi!  So I have three days left having a Husband around to complete a million projects in a day :)!  He is amazing.  However, I loose him to his residency on Friday.  So please check in to see some of my happy things that are keeping me in Kingman for just one more day.  This is what I tell myself each day.  One day down.  One day closer to a routine and to feeling more USED to my home away from home (Las Vegas).  Life is full of changes.  I am just not into things changing!

For your viewing enjoyment look at this etsy site "star bags" and gaze at the belt of my dreams.....I just love this belt!

Check these spots out!

In my new little town, I have not been to a store other than "THE" Walmart or Home depot.  Wait.... there are no other stores! We got the internet Tuesday afternoon and life is starting to look up a little.  Check out some of these favorite spots!

Houses I ADORE in Salt Lake City!

This house is what I see from my bedroom window at my parents house in Salt Lake.  I just love it.  The people who live in it are such loving people too.  They are always hosting big parties.  There are  3 or 4 visiting  cars parked in front too.  That to me is a happy home.... filled with fun friends visiting and good times being had within its walls.  The owner was just called as the Bishop of my parents ward.

Since I was a young girl, this house has called to me!  I love the gigantic yard around it.  I dream of the dogs and kids running around the yard playing.  I can envision a Summer BBQ.  Sipping lemonade and music playing in the back ground.
The side yard!

This was the house my Grandparents built and my Mom grew up in!  I have such fond memories there.

One of my favorite things to do in Salt Lake is to get a good shake from a place called Shivers, and drive around about dusk time looking at beautiful homes.  I love when the lights are on....and you can see into houses through the windows. Funny of me.....peeping ISH huh!
