Introducing a Easter morning recipe to celebrate!

Decorating Easter Sugar Cookies....but this is not a Sugar Cookie Recipe

This is a change your life, worth every calorie Creme Brule French Toast!  You soak the bread the night before, so in the morning there is very little effort required.  Your family and guests will drool.  You will be drooling as you prepare it too.  I have made this twice...it NEVER disappoints!

1/2 C butter
1 C brown sugar
2 tsp corn syrup
1 loaf Texas toast bread
5 eggs
1 1/2 C half & half
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Melt the butter, sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat, stirring occasionally.  Pour mixture into a jelly roll pan.  Spread to cover surface.  Place 12 slices of bread to cover pan.  Mix eggs, cream, salt, and vanilla, and spoon mixture over each piece of bread.  Cover and refrigerate over night.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes.  Bread will be slightly toasted on top.  Now FLIP bread over when serving so that brown gooey side is face up.

SYRUP

1 C butter
1 C sugar
1 C heavy whipping cream
1/2 t vanilla

Bring to a boil, add vanilla last.

Happy EATING friends!!!!
